Why don’t you post pictures of the children?
The laws regarding the security and privacy of all our foster children are very clear. We can share pictures of projects, dinners, receipts and more but absolutely no pictures of children.
How much of the donations goes to the children?
Thankfully with the help of many volunteers, 90% of the money donated goes to the children while 10% goes to the administration of Foster Care Awareness.
How can I help?
If you are able to, the best way to help is to become a foster parent yourself. However, you can also help by making a donation to our efforts or reach out and let us know how you can donate of your time and talents.
How do I become a foster parent?
The process requires some paperwork and training. Contact us and we can connect you with a local agency that will walk you through the process.
Are my contributions tax deductible?
As of Nov 2024, Foster Care submitted its 501c3 application to the IRS. Once its status is approved, all donations will be tax deductible.
